| This isn't meant to be anything fancy or life-changing. I've just seen them enough around DH1, and while I don't like them much myself, I started to wonder: what do other players think of them? Sure, everyone has their own RPing style, and there are moments that call for all sorts of them. And hells, rules towards mins or maxs as far as the length of a pose would be rather ridiculous. Really, though...are we on an interesting MUSH involving interwoven RP with other people, or a spiff-ified instant messaging system where we post dialogue back and forth an use ** to represent actions? | |

| I think it depends on the context. If I don't need a paragraph, give me a one-liner. If its a huge epic thing and merits a full-page pose, give me that. But neither should be used more often then needed. | |

| Depends on the occasion. I don't need an entire paragraph on a character nodding and saying "Yes". | |

This, imo. It's not only annoying to read a 200-word opus that amounts to :nods his affirmation. It's also difficult to create a 200-word opus that amounts to same. | |

| One line is fine, if it's good. I don't usually read more than the first sentence of other people's poses, anyway. | |
